Now that you have taken stock in what you accomplished, learned, and released in 2022 and taken time to digest your successes, you are ready to plan your vision for 2023!
Step 1: Choose Your Areas of Experience
Start by choosing the areas of your life you want to experience improvement in for 2023. Think about what you want to accomplish, learn, and release in 2023. Here are some examples of areas you can adopt but also feel free to create your own. You will want to look at all possibilities but settle on four or less areas. Remember we do not want to overwhelm this process; the goal is doable consistent steps.
Areas:
Quality of Life – more peace, fun/adventurous activities, more travel, check our local attractions, start or boost self-care process
Business/Career – job promotion, starting or growing a business
Relationships/Social life – make new friends, more communication with current friends & family, better relationship with family, join interested organizations, become more active in organizations, volunteer
Finances/Wealth – increase wealth, increase savings, increase investing, reduce debt, increase credit score
Education/Learning – read more, take a class, get a certification or degree
Spirituality – add more spiritual activities, read more spiritual texts, take a meditation class
Health – improve lab results, weight release, complete all annual exams, move body more, eat heathier, invest time in mental wellness, learn about emotion health
Step 2: Envision You
Once you have chosen your four or less areas, write a vision of yourself for each one. Your vision will be of you at the end of 2023 having fully expressed the areas chosen.
For example, if you chose Finance/Wealth, your vision may be of yourself looking at your great credit score, your debt paid statement, and/or your bank statement with a great savings balance.
If you chose Health, your vision may be of you at the doctor’s office getting on the scale and seeing a lower number, getting your lab report, and having your health numbers in a normal range, walking on a treadmill, and reaching a mileage you hadn’t reached before. Be as descriptive and excited as possible when writing your vision. Your vision will be the groundwork for your quantitative goals.
